About Carol Klingel

Carol Klingel

I am an artist-teacher living in rural Northeastern Ohio. Nature and seasons surround me and provide me with endless inspiration and subject matter. I only have to look outside my studio window or venture into the wild backyard to fill my eyes and heart with wonderful, sometimes very ordinary, things to see and do. Shadows falling from trees, bushes, chairs, buildings, animals, vegetables, and the light that peeks through and coaxes those shadows are endlessly fascinating to me. My subjects tend to the ordinary, but that is where I find the extraordinary. Over the years I have been in many group and solo shows, juried and invitational, including the Canton Art Museum, The Butler Museum Midyear Show, Kent State University alumni show,...
